This platform is a project of CEF Europe. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, who can see it, and your rights.
Who is responsible for your data
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Europe (CEF Europe) is responsible for your personal data (the "data controller"). For any question or request about your data, contact us at info@cefeurope.org.
What we collect
Your email address and password, to sign you in. Your password is stored only in encrypted form; nobody, including us, can read it. What you add as you use the platform: your name, preferred language, date of birth, course progress, gifts assessment answers and results, reflections, and your mentor connections. Technical data needed to keep you signed in and the platform secure.
Why we use it
To create and run your account and provide the features you choose to use. Some of what you share, such as reflections and assessment answers, can reveal your religious beliefs. We process this only because you choose to share it with us for this purpose, and you can delete it at any time. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your reflections are private by default. A mentor sees only what you choose to share with them, and you can stop sharing at any time. A small number of platform administrators can access account details only when needed to run the platform or help you.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the European Union. We use these service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement: • Supabase: database and sign-in (Frankfurt, Germany) • Vercel: website hosting (Frankfurt, Germany) • Resend: sending emails (Ireland)
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted. Backup copies are removed automatically within 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies
We use only what the platform needs to work: a cookie that keeps you signed in, a cookie that remembers your language, and a browser setting that remembers light or dark mode. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Age
The platform is intended for people aged 18 and over.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. Important changes will be announced on the platform.
